Chris Hill and I visited Kinder Scout for our second training walk for Keswick to Barrow. Total distance covered was approximately 16 miles in 6 hours. Everywhere was covered in snow and in many places there were drifts of around a foot or so deep. The snow made the roads a little harder, while the peat paths were frozen and easier. The views from the peaks were stunning, the snow giving everything a strange black and white look.
